Guohui Liu has studied Chinese medicine with his father, Luyan Liu, and other well-known traditional doctors in China, for more than thirty years. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and became an associate professor at the University in 1994. Dr. Liu has published numerous Chinese-language books and articles about medicine and the classics. He has presented workshops on various aspects of Chinese medicine in Europe and the U.S. He is also in private practice in Portland, Oregon.
